As I’m writing BITING BAD (CV8), I was thinking of Malik, and I realized that although I have a very particular face in mind for him, I don’t think I’ve ever posted it.
The dashing Leonard Roberts (Drumline, Heroes) gets my vote. What do you think? Do you have an actor in mind?

He was in Buffy, too. He has prior vampire experience! (He ended up being a demon/human/cyborg hybrid, but still…)
I’ve always pictured Chiwetel Ejiofor as Malik. Maybe because he is one of my all time favorite actors, I think he makes the perfect Malik. And he can do an American accent. 🙂

J. August Richards (awesome as Gunn on Angel) would fit pretty well. Jessie Williams might also work.
I’ve always pictured Malik as Michael Ealy. I absolutely love his eyes <3
I love him in Drumline:) But for some reason I have always pictured Malik with straight longish really dark hair… No particular face in mind, just the hair.. I dont know why.. haha
