Second, I’m fascinated by your entries in the “Who Should Get Their Own Series” poll. I expected to see LOTS of responses for Mallory, but Catcher’s a complete surprise. I guess you folks enjoy him. \ud83d\ude42 He, of course, is a feature character in FRIDAY NIGHT BITES<\/a>, so you’ll get a little Catcher goodness (tatoo, katana and all) come October.<\/p>\n

And now onto The Friday Five: Things I’m Nerdly For.<\/p>\n

1. Russell + Hazel<\/a>. I have an odd, wicked attraction to office supplies, and R+H knows how to do it right.<\/p>\n

2. House<\/a>. Live it. Love it. Watch it religiously.<\/p>\n

3. Jamie + Claire<\/a>: I can’t tell you how excited I am for the September 2009 release of An Echo in the Bone<\/a>. I’ll be frank–A Breath of Snow and Ashes wasn’t my favorite, but I’ve read Outlander more times than I can count. If you’re looking for a richly historical romance (with gorgeous Scottsmen in kilts and a little time travel), check out this series. NOW<\/em>.<\/p>\n

4. Gary Lightbody<\/a>: Gary is the lead singer of Snow Patrol, who you might remember I saw in concert a few weeks ago. Gary smiles almost the entire time he sings–and his face completely lights up. You can tell that the man is in the throes of doing something he absolutely loves. We should all be lucky enough to be as happy as he seems to be.<\/p>\n

5. Prop Styling: I never gave much thought to prop styling (the arrangement of stuff in photographs, such as the lovely pics from Martha Stewart magazines), but there’s something fascinating about the well-executed arrangement of *stuff*.
