As new authors don&#8217;t typically do many booksignings, most of my booksignings to date have been in or near places I&#8217;ve lived (and thus places with a built-in audience).<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><a onblur=\"try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}\" href=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/_X4u7DRdJ1w4\/SrGM5_P99dI\/AAAAAAAAAbs\/fQRwMOF9jDc\/s1600-h\/photo.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/_X4u7DRdJ1w4\/SrGM5_P99dI\/AAAAAAAAAbs\/fQRwMOF9jDc\/s320\/photo.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5382237957543294418\" style=\"cursor: pointer; width: 240px; height: 320px; \" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>But I recently got an invitation to attend a discussion and signing at the Barnes &amp; Noble in Racine, Wisconsin, and I can&#8217;t thank them enough for their hospitality.
