Kind of."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: verdana;\"><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-size: x-small;\">Yesterday (Tuesday, March 9) was four weeks from the publication date for <\/span><\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/chloeneill.com\/sgb.htm\"><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: verdana;\"><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-size: x-small;\">Some Girls Bite<\/span><\/span><\/a><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: verdana;\"><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-size: x-small;\"> (Tuesday, April 7). I&#8217;m thrilled, and keep obsessively checking my mailbox, waiting for my contract copies of the book just so I can get a glimpse of the finished product, even though there&#8217;s no way they&#8217;d be this early. \u00a0Still, they MIGHT be, and one of these days they WILL be, and that future possibility is enough to keep me checking. \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<div><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\" \"><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: verdana;\"><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-size: x-small;\"><br \/><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: verdana;\"><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-size: x-small;\">[And if you think that&#8217;s bad, you should have seen me during the college application process. Impatience, thy name is Chloe Neill.]<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\" \"><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: verdana;\"><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-size: x-small;\"><br \/><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<div><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: verdana;\"><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-size: x-small;\">I got the offer from Penguin for SGB in January 2008. \u00a0That&#8217;s sixteen long (!) months from offer to publication.
