Thanks to everyone who came out for the Little Rock, Arkansas booksigning. It was great to see so many supportive faces in the crowd (and I hope you all enjoy your copies of SOME GIRLS BITE<\/a>). That concludes my two-stop book tour. \ud83d\ude42 I’ll post pictures as soon as I’m near a USB cord.<\/p>\n

Also, a special thanks to Doug and all the readers at SciFiGuy<\/a> who asked fabulous questions about Merit, et al. during my weekend guest blog.<\/p>\n

A handful of events on the calendar this week, including a Bookroast <\/a>tomorrow! Stop by the Bookroast, where I’ll be fielding questions and offering the details on the web site “Easter egg” <\/a>that will get you a look at a deleted scene from SOME GIRLS BITE<\/a>! I’ll also be guest blogging at Author Sound Relations<\/a> on Saturday. <\/p>\n

. . . Merit is a great character. Even though she is confused
about her new identity, she continues headlong. She meets new adversity
with witty snark. Also, she does not allow others to push her around, even
though she should be afraid. Actually, she is afraid, but she still opens
her big mouth. In the end, I think she surprises herself by her inner
strength, something the readers pick up on early in her story.<\/p>\n

The other characters are equally as intriguing, not a single one is
cookie cutter or annoying. I loved scenes with Merit and Ethan, their
chemistry unbelievable. Also, Merit and her best friend have a great
relationship that is carried throughout the entire book.<\/p>\n

Some Girls Bite is a fabulous story with perfect pacing and wonderful
characters. I am impressed by this first book and cannot wait for
more. Luckily, the story will continue this fall. Unfortunately, we
have to wait until this fall for the continuation of Merit\u2019s story.<\/p>\n

. . . A fun and hilarious addition to the vampire mystique, SOME GIRLS BITE
introduces Merit to the series genre. While she might be young, she\u2019s
feisty and not about to take anything lying down. Merit might not be the
most obedient of women, but her strength may be the one thing that can save the
vampires in this most dangerous and trying of times. Secondary characters
include Merit\u2019s best friend Mallory, who learns some things about herself, and
some new friends in Catcher and Jeff, a sorcerer and a werewolf. Ethan is
enigmatic and beguiling, but Merit has no interest in being any man, or
vampire\u2019s, mistress. Readers will enjoy watching this particular
relationship unfold to see where it goes.<\/p>\n

SOME GIRLS BITE is a fast and entertaining read, and Merit is
definitely a heroine to watch. Pick up your copy today and jump into a
brand new series that has wonderful potential.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

. . . Ms. Neill totally hit it out of the ballpark with this new series! I love
this book! SOME GIRLS BITE has a refreshing new contemporary feel. Merit\u2019s
character is changing daily with her new role, and she has a totally kick butt
mind-set, even though she has to have a “fake it until you make it attitude”.
Ethan is pretty hot too! I think this series will be a hit with paranormal fans
and look forward to the October 2009 release of FRIDAY NIGHT BITES. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n
