Fresh Fiction read DRINK DEEP and concluded “Merit is Awesome!”

Finally the fifth installment of this terrific novel is here. Merit returns as an even stronger female lead, which is a wonderful and rare quality. She is still mourning the loss of Ethan, but there might be a new love interest. Jonah is charismatic, protective, and kind. He is actually good for Merit. However, Ethan will remain in the readers’ mind (bring him back)!

The events of this book include a fairy, fight scenes, love scenes, etc. All leading up to a terrific, and slightly unexpected, ending. This book is a continuation of a series, but it will be just as appealing as if it was the first in a series. There is a lot to look forward to in this novel, there is a definite parallel between Nancy Drew and Merit. This book is recommended to young adult/adult readers.

I understand folks are worrying about this review because of the “bring him back” bit. Don’t fret, folks. That isn’t a spoiler about DRINK DEEP. We already knew DD contained scenes involving Jonah. I believe the author is just indicating what she was thinking after reading scenes involving Jonah–that she’d prefer to read about Ethan. 😉

My answer remains the same as it did six months ago- Trust me. 🙂
