More Chicagoland!

I am thrilled to report that Penguin has made an offer for three more Chicagoland Vampires books (8-10)! This brings our total to ten Merit adventures! And since DRINK DEEP is only No. 5, we’ll have plenty more adventures to go.

  • W00t, only discovered your books last week and am now halfway through ‘Hard Bitten’, it’s great to think the next book is only a week away and now there are more on the horizon.

    I don’t suppose you could get them written and published over the course of the next three weeks by any chance? 😀

    We definitly can’t get enough of this. Just like many readers I’m so excited for soon-to-be release (drink deep), I just finished reading the previous one and the end is breath-catching. I nearly cried (and you know a book is that good when you’re so in that you get thrills just about turning the next page) I hope, one way or an other, he’ll come back. I’m not into happy-never-ending-story, I prefer realist ones, when protagonists deserved to be happy after all they’re been throught. A nihilist world when no one is that dark or white but rather all shades of gray. Anf that’s the case with chicagoland. So cant wait to have at least those ten books ! Thank you for what you created.

    Can’t wait for DD next week even if it then means a long wait til next summer for Biting Cold … At least we know there are now another 4 instalments to look forward to instead of just one now!!! May you never be tired of writing Merit as we will never be tired of reading her adventures!!! (I still have faith that you’ll bring Ethan back before the end of DD or BC!!!)

  • really good news!! 10 is a nice number though as a fan I am wouldnt argue for a shed or two more but its still a long and kick-ass journey with hopefully the end nowhere in sight xD
