I’ve been getting a lot of questions lately about booksignings. As new authors don’t typically do many booksignings, most of my booksignings to date have been in or near places I’ve lived (and thus places with a built-in audience).
But I recently got an invitation to attend a discussion and signing at the Barnes & Noble in Racine, Wisconsin, and I can’t thank them enough for their hospitality. The store was full to the brim with copies of SOME GIRLS BITE, and the staff was absolutely fabulous.
Thanks to Midge, Glenn and the rest of the staff for the invitation, and throwing a fabulous event!
Also, check out my interview at Royal Reviews as part of Vampire Week! Diana, aka the Moody Countess (love the names!), is giving away a copy of SOME GIRLS BITE this week! I’ll also be visiting Diane on October 23, 2009 for Part II of my interview and a guest blog. Thanks, Diane!
In other news, I should hit 70,000 words on TWICE BITTEN tonight. I’m glad I’m nearing the end–I’m tired!
Hi 🙂
Thank you for sharing.
I loved the pictures.
Were you nervous?
Congratulations on hitting the 70000 word mark on TWICE BITTEN!
🙂
Love & Best Wishes to you & yours,
@RKCharron

Not at all nervous. Everyone was very excited, and public speaking doesn't really bother me. (I was a college teaching assistant for a while).
Thanks!
So can you give us a projected timeline for Twice Bitten?
@Kimh – It will be published in July 2010, if that's what you mean.
