  • 1. Onions, bellpeppers, celery and garlic sauteing in butter (I’m from Southern Louisiana).
    2. Sleeping on sheets dried on a clothesline.
    3. The smell of a baby immediately after his/her bath.
    4. Puppy snuggles.
    5. Release date for a new Chicagoland Vampires book!

  • I stopped by to admire your “House Rules” cover art. Perfect colors and great model pose.

    Then I saw your favorite list included Peonies! My family has kept and passed down through the generations a white heirloom peony originally brought from England in the early 1800s. Every time someone moves they carefully split some roots to plant at the new home.
