Some Chicago Sweetness

I’ve run across some fun Chicago bits and pieces lately, so I thought I’d share:

1. I adore the Chicago City Print by J. Hill Design. You can order a print or notecards!

2. Chicago jewelrymaker Jess L.C. is having a Valentine’s Day Trunk Show Feb. 11-12 at Macy’s on State Street in Chicago. (You may remember Jess from such posts as this one.) Gorgeous jewelry, lovely prices.

3. Apartment Therapy – Chicago. This is a daily read for me. Great design, cool shops, and the best of the best of Craigslist decor in the metro area.

4. Brownstone Antiques in Andersonville (Chicago): Oh, how I long to peruse your dusty piles of collectible fabulousness.

5. And to end, an interesting article and a great line in the Chicago Reader by Michael Miner: “Is it just me, or did Apple’s new iPad make everyone in the journalism biz a little crazy? And I don’t just mean crazy as in, making way too much of yet another story that could stand some restraint. Crazy as in, how you feel when the doctor who gave you six months five months ago calls and says, “There’s this very interesting new drug you need to know about.”
