I’ve just finished the first edit (via editorial letter) of FRIDAY NIGHT BITES. It took a month, and I deleted/added about 17,000 22,000 words to the manuscript. Significantly beefed up the mystery, and added a pretty kick-ass fight scene at the end.
This has been a long process; I definitely think FNB is better post-edit (with much thanks to my tenacious editor), but I’m glad to be done.
Well, mostly done. I’ve got a list of things to check for consistency with issues in SOME GIRLS BITE, so I’ll do a light line-edit and read-through tomorrow, but then it’s back to work, and time to start working on FIRESPELL again.
