I thought I’d share some images from this last weekend’s booksigning trip to Chicago. (And please forgive the quality–these are phone pics that I shrunk down.)
Enjoy!
A fountain in Gold Coast
A building in Gold Coast which reminds me of Navarre House
The Hancock building
The cloisters in a church on Michigan Avenue
Michigan Avenue planter boxes
Trump Tower
The Archbishop’s Residence, which could easily be a House!

I didn’t picture Navarre like that, but it’s good to put an image with it! The Archbishop’s is exactly how I picture Cadogan, except not red.
Yeah, it’s pretty close to Cadogan architecturally–except for the color. And the grounds are lovely. 🙂
The Michigan Avenue planter boxes are fantastic. When I lived in Chicago, I loved seeing the new creations. I remember clumps of fake snow during winter and dresses made from random materials (glass, flowers, metal, etc.) during summer. Looks like you had a fantastic trip! Congratulations on Biting Bad being a bestseller!
Thanks!! 🙂
