Now that Jeff is safely in the world, it’s time to focus on that next little item of business — the February 4, 2014 release of WILD THINGS, the ninth novel in the Chicagoland Vampires series!
Here’s everything you need to know:
1. Sneak Peeks. You can read the first chapter of WILD THINGS here, and the entire first two chapters are included with HOWLING FOR YOU.
2. Preorders help authors immensely!* You can preorder at all your favorite bookselling establishments, including these: Amazon, Barnes & Noble, BAM, iBooks, IndieBound, Penguin
3. Blog Tour. The WILD THINGS Book tour will take place January 27 to February 7. You can see the full schedule here. There will be giveaways at each tour location, plus a grand prize giveaway here — including a Kindle!
4. Release Party. The WILD THINGS Release Night Party/Booksigning will be held at the Barnes & Noble at Oakview Mall in Omaha, Nebraska at 7:00 p.m. There will be snacks and swag! 🙂
5. Prophecy. Green Eyes. Discussions and revelations. 😀 Need I say more?!
Thank you so much for your continued support of this series!
xoxo, Chloe
* – Why do preorders matter? Because they’re lumped in together with first week sales. That final number is a publisher’s first and primary indication of book success–which is how they evaluate the author and the series. Those initial sales also drive NYT and USA Today bestseller status.
I’ve had it preordered since I was able. I can’t wait and was glad to read the first two chapters but now I want more. ooooh, I didn’t know the prophecy answer would be in this one- now I really can’t wait. hurry up Feb. 4th. I love your books
I have had it pre-ordered since it became available as well. Can’t wait for Feb to get here!!! Just finished re-reading the entire series including the 2 newest!
Just saw the PW announcement
“NAL Keeps Neill Bloodsucking
NAL signed a six-figure deal with Chloe Neill for three more titles in her Chicagoland Vampires series. ”

Whoot!Whoot! Go Girl! 🙂
It’d be nice if you could talk to your publishers and stop this silly staged releases. It’s hugely disheartening to read about how a book is released soon and see all these people reading it and know you can’t have it for nearly a month because you live on a different bit of rock.
Robert –
Unfortunately, I have no say (whatsoever) in when or how the publishers choose to release the books. (And since I’m based in the US, and 91% of my web traffic is based in the United States, I focus on US releases.)
Thank you for reading, and for your patience.
Chloe
