. . . Merit is a great character. Even though she is confused
about her new identity, she continues headlong. She meets new adversity
with witty snark. Also, she does not allow others to push her around, even
though she should be afraid. Actually, she is afraid, but she still opens
her big mouth. In the end, I think she surprises herself by her inner
strength, something the readers pick up on early in her story.The other characters are equally as intriguing, not a single one is
cookie cutter or annoying. I loved scenes with Merit and Ethan, their
chemistry unbelievable. Also, Merit and her best friend have a great
relationship that is carried throughout the entire book.Some Girls Bite is a fabulous story with perfect pacing and wonderful
characters. I am impressed by this first book and cannot wait for
more. Luckily, the story will continue this fall. Unfortunately, we
have to wait until this fall for the continuation of Merit’s story.. . .

. . . Ms. Neill totally hit it out of the ballpark with this new series! I love
this book! SOME GIRLS BITE has a refreshing new contemporary feel. Merit’s
character is changing daily with her new role, and she has a totally kick butt
mind-set, even though she has to have a “fake it until you make it attitude”.
Ethan is pretty hot too! I think this series will be a hit with paranormal fans
and look forward to the October 2009 release of FRIDAY NIGHT BITES.
