Sam Smith singing Lay Me Down is just killing it for me. I see Ethan and Merit enjoying a moment to this one. 🙂

  • I would like to suggest Grace Potter and The Nocturnals “Fallling or Flying” for Methan. I can see her driving around Chicago listening to this trying to figure out where she stood with Ethan when their relationship was gettinng waylaid by his old lover.

    Somehow, one of my Methan-Songs is ‘Little Too Much’ by Natasha Bedingfield.

  • This is an old song from the 50’s or 60’s by the Brothers Four. It is called Come to My Bedside My Darling. I can hear Ethan saying the words to her in my mind. I think it is a very sensual song and that is how I picture Ethan.

  • this song is so unknown by the singer is not Ellie Goulding the song is” My Blood” there is a line in it that says “in all the blood I lost with you in trying to love” it fits so perfectly with the on and off relationship you have to hear it I thought of this song the minute I saw this post

    I love Shinedown’s “I’ll Follow You” and Apocalyptica’s “Not Strong Enough” for Merit and Ethan. (Among maaaany other songs, since I have a full playlist only for them…)

    Now i the song i’ve chosen is Fire and Fury by Skillet, it reminds me how both Ethan and Merit need each other.

    • Jayne, those lyrics reminded me of when Ethan was gone, and the pain Merit went through! And really how they feel every day.

    Patrick Swayze – She’s Like The Wind
    Steve Holy – Good Morning Beautiful
    Randy Houser – Goodnight Kiss (Reminds me of their first night together in Ethan’s apartments).
    Thompson Square – If I Didn’t Have You (For when Ethan died).
    Gary Allan – Every Storm (Runs Out Of Rain) (When Ethan died and came back).
    Cassadee Pope – Wasting All These Tears (For their many break ups).
    Florida Georgia Line – Stay (Reminds me of the signed baseball Ethan gave Merit as the “I’m sorry” gift).
    Blake Shelton – My Eyes
    I thought this was a song that Ethan would honor Merit with because of this line:

  • Green Eyes – Coldplay.
    Its my all time favourite Methan tune in my Darth Sullivan playlist 🙂

  • This is gorgeous, this just seems to have all their history and like some of the other people this made me tear up not only from when Ethan died, but from the beauty of this man’s voice. I can totally see them either getting it on to this song, or dancing to it alone in their room.
