Lots of things on the agenda today!
First, thanks to everyone who participated in last night’s chat! It was tons of fun, and I’m sorry we had to bow out as it got late…writers and agents and marketers need their beauty sleep, too. 🙂 I’m currently exploring ways to make a chat/forum a regular feature of chloeneill.com, and I’ll keep you posted on those developments.
Second, in answer to a comment by blackroze, there aren’t any giveaways in play right now, but I’m currently working on my next big contest. Check back for more details!
Third, congratulations to Lucienne Diver, whose first (and fabulous!) YA novel VAMPED is officially released today. Word is, the book was so fab that stores couldn’t keep from stocking it early, but don’t let that stop you from checking it out on Amazon or popping over to Lucienne’s blog!
Fourth, congrats to Marybeth, this week’s featured WIP Thursday commenter! Here’s what she’s working on!
I got 5 chapters edited yesterday and transfered to MS word. 15 down and 12 more
to go before it is (hopefully *crosses my fingers*) ready to be sent out on
queries!!!
Good luck and good writing, Marybeth!
Fifth (appropriately), it’s on to the FRIDAY FIVE!
1. The ottoman I’d really like for my (new) office.

2. I love the ribbon organization at Savannah store @ home (Design*Sponge) And the store looks pretty sweet, too!
3. Ali Edwards has a great post today on getting out of a creative rut.
Ruts. Down periods. Being stuck. Dry spell. That time where nothing feels right. You start and stop and just can’t find that happy, magical place where it all seems to come together. I have so been there. I am there. And I know I will be there again.
4. These are so cute. If only they were made sufficiently big enough to fit McDonald’s Diet Cokes. (Yeah, you chatters know what I’m talking about.)
5. Interesting buyables from India Rose.
Happy weekend, all!
