Hello, everyone! I’m busily finishing the first round of HOUSE RULES edits, and I thought I’d take a moment to answer the two most common questions I’ve been getting lately.
1. Will there be any more books in the Dark Elite series?
There are three books in the Dark Elite series (FIRESPELL, HEXBOUND, and CHARMFALL. THE DARK ELITE includes both FIRESPELL and HEXBOUND).
Unfortunately, there are no current plans for any further books in the series.
2. How many books will be in the Chicagoland Vampires series?
I have no idea. There are currently ten (1-10) books under contract. Any books beyond ten will depend on sales and, most importantly, whether I think Merit has more to tell and can continue growing as a character.
I had guessed at one point that it might take me 8 or 9 books to get through the story arc in my mind, but that was a very uneducated guess made before I’d even published a single book (or written anything other than Some Girls Bite.)
3. When’s the next Chicagoland Vampires book coming out?
BITING COLD (CV6) is currently on shelves.
HOUSE RULES (CV7) will be published on February 5, 2013.
BITING BAD (CV8) will be published on August 6, 2013.

Sorry to hear about the Dark Elite series, it’s on my list of books to read though I haven’t gotten there yet. And Yay!!!! you have a title for Number 8 Biting Bad!!!
gosh i hope that biting bad has a very distinctive cover. I always confuse too similarly titled books in a series with each other
I’m excited for the Chicagoland series, there are always things that surprise me about them, really who knows what’s going to happen next (except for you of course lol). I like the Dark Elite series too, still need to read that last one though 🙂
I just could not bring myself to put Biting Cold down! Read it in a day and am waiting eagerly for the next book. I am so happy to hear that you have more Merit & Ethan coming our way ;oP but it is sad to hear about Dark Elite ;(
