Happy release day, everyone! Enjoy Merit No. 4!

“Neill has created a descriptive, imaginative, and striking world for her Chicagoland Vampires, rich with real world problems as well as otherworldly creatures. … they’ll find it roughly fantastic beginning to end, with one of the best endings in urban fantasy history.” – RT Book Reviews
“As much as the first book was Merit’s, she shone like the sun. This one is Ethan’s. The vamp definitely comes into his own after a few hundred years. Tear down the Morgan posters, ladies. Ethan is going on the walls.” — The Romance Reviews (Top Pick)
“Chloe Neill continues to rock the urban fantasy sub-genre with her strong thrillers.” — Genre-Go-Round Reviews
All I can say is WOW, WOW, WOW!!! Well done Chloe, you hit us with suprise, after suprise, after suprise. Great Job with Hard Bitten.
I’m so jealous – it’s not out until 12th May in the UK!! Happy reading everybody – I shall be hiding from spoilers 🙂
OMGGGGG!!! I have it!!! at least!!!!!!! I`m going to enjoy it so muuucchh!!!
Happy release day Chloe!
Great book! PLEASE tell me that my favourite character will somehow be resurrected in the next book (trying to plea without spoiling the story)
Too bad Tantor can’t seem to get the audiobook version out on time.
Thanks to technology and a good book, I can say that this is a very good book. Congratulations!!! November is going to be a very long wait.
When will the audiobook be released????
I was reading Twice Bitten in October, thinking “how will I ever wait for May?”. Eventually, I just forgot about it, and now, I get my glorious day or so of reading! Hells yeah!!!!!
When does the audio version release?
Congratulations to all you lucky people who have got their copy of HB – can’t get mine til next week in the UK – totally gutted at this point!!
Am now hiding from Meritverse too as I see the discussion boards are already in full swing with spoilers galore – I want to read them but don’t want to spoil the story for when I get my copy next week!!
No book and no meritverse until after May 12th – bereft!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
breaking my usual policy of not commenting on blogs to say: read it. loved it. and you are a cruel, cruel woman ; )
Why? WHY DID YOU DO THIS TO ME???
I fell in love with this series a few months ago, and just finished Hard Bitten. And again, I ask, WHY?
I’m trusting you for one more book. ONE MORE IS ALL YOU HAVE!!!!!!!
Seriously it was great. Except for the end, but I’m imagining that you expected this kind of reaction, right?
Okay. Deep breaths. Must recover emotional stability before hubby comes home.
Sorely disappointed. Hated the ending…. can’t see reading any further in the series.
Read it in three hours- great until I started crying my eyes out and almost died. My hearts broken, welcome to the club all future readers.
I was so looking forward to this book and I’m SO incredibly disappointed in it. I read for enjoyment and I did NOT enjoy some of this book. I have faith in you Ms. Neill, and hope you can recover it. Please! 🙁
Do you think you could status when the audiobook version is going to be released? You may have better luck getting an answer from Tantor than your fans.
Hi Chloe! So Hard Bitten was SUPPOSED to be released on May 3, but for people in some countries, the publisher has delayed it! I dont know when its coming out and its killing me! Do you have any idea whats going on? lol!
I waited for this book…couldn’t read it fast enough, but OMG I was devistated at the end, did not see that coming. Now I will wait for Novermber’s release to see what happens. I can relate to NC’s comment, I didn’t cry my eyes out, but I am heart broken. I tried to explain to my husband why I was upset..and he said…”honey it’s just a book!” Men are truly from Mars!
Bummed the audio version isn’t out yet. I ordered it from B&N and then I got an email stating that it isn’t available yet. What’s up with that? Can you provide an update on estimated dates?
